Our thoughts

As mentioned in the beginning, the laptop boasts a fairly aggressive exterior, especially for a budget laptop, since gaming laptops in this price range are usually looking for something a bit subtle.

Now, while aesthetics may be a matter of personal taste and preference, there is no denying that this laptop has had a nice impact on its price.

The powerful 8 ยบ The he5-8300H generation is a quad-core CPU with eight threads that can be adjusted up to 4 GHz, has a huge 1 TB of internal storage, and 8 GB of RAM that would be more than enough for in the 2021 games.

Graphically savvy, the mobile GTX 1050 Ti is a testament to the capability level of the Pascal architecture, as it predates the previous generation of Maxwell mobile GPUs and leaves Intel’s integrated graphics solutions in the dust.

Of course, while it’s a bargain at this price, the mobile variant of the GTX 1050 Ti isn’t the best GPU out there. You can be sure that this will be more than enough for esports and is a very capable overall 1080p GPU, but you will inevitably have problems with newer AAA game titles.

At the end of the day, our only real issue with this laptop is that HP doesn’t offer an SSD-equipped variant of this laptop, at least for now. With SSDs being popular and affordable, some gamers will definitely appreciate the option, even if we’re talking about a smaller 256GB SSD.

The next gaming laptop in line came from none other than the MSI, and it was the GV62 8RD.

And like the HP laptop described above, you may notice that it’s a gaming laptop right out of the box as it uses a more aggressive design, with a red LED backlit keyboard and an enticing MSI Gaming logo on it . . And sure enough, it also introduces the
